Synopsis: This take on teenage suburbia in the age of the cell phone and the belly ring revels in the bright, gleaming surfaces of its middle-class milieu, all the better to draw out the shadows of its tree-lined streets. It's the last day of school in the year 1999, and kids just want to have fun. That, at least, is the plan.
